In this poignant dramedy, we meet two sisters, Maggie and Rose, who seem to be perfectly opposite to each other. Maggie, the younger one, is an impulsive and uninhibited woman who lives life to the fullest, while Rose, the older sister, is a hardworking and disciplined lawyer, trapped in a world that is too serious and orderly. Although they share the same blood, their relationship is tense, filled with jealousy and misunderstandings.
When Maggie, after losing her job and her relationship, moves in with Rose, things get even more complicated. Her carefree lifestyle clashes with Rose's meticulous routine, and each day becomes an exercise in patience and frustration. However, everything changes when they learn they have a grandmother they have never met, a woman who has been living alone in a retirement community on the coast of Florida. In an attempt to reconnect and let their guards down, they decide to visit their grandmother, and thus begins an unexpected journey of self-discovery and reconciliation.
As the sisters navigate their strained relationship and hidden family secrets, they will learn that love and support are the keys to facing their insecurities. Ultimately, this story teaches us that while our differences may sometimes drive us apart, family always has the ability to bring us together, making us stronger in the process.
