In this fun 1970s crime comedy, a group of thieves embarks on a risky mission to steal a valuable diamond that has caused more trouble than it's worth. The story begins when a cunning criminal, played by the charismatic Robert Redford, finds himself behind bars, but his wit and charm enable him to convince his partner, a strict security guard, that he can lead a heist that will secure them a future filled with luxury.

Gathering a motley crew of accomplices, each with their own talents and quirks, the team devises a seemingly impossible robbery plan. With absurd humor throughout the plot, they must contend with a whole arsenal of setbacks—from a useless car to an unexpected twist from the police. To make matters worse, the diamond has a strange effect on everyone it encounters, testing the loyalty and competence of the group.

Amidst improvised heists and disastrous situations, the protagonists must prove that imagination is just as important as criminal talent. With a light tone full of ironies, this film is not only a game of cat and mouse but also a reflection on friendship and ambition in the world of crime. With a stellar cast and a clever script, the plot keeps viewers intrigued and laughing throughout its unpredictable conclusion.
