The Hourglass Sanatorium

  • Log in or register to post comments

In a world where time seems to have stopped, a man finds himself trapped in a peculiar sanatorium, where the rules of reality are blurred and memories intertwine with dreams. This place, with its dreamlike and sometimes unsettling atmosphere, serves as both a refuge and a prison for its patients, who struggle with their own inner demons.

Our protagonist, a restless young man, begins to explore the hallways of this enigmatic sanatorium, where eccentric characters and absurd situations create a surreal atmosphere. As he interacts with other patients, each with their own stories of pain and longing, the line between madness and lucidity begins to blur. Vivid images from his past emerge, revealing traumas and moments of glory, while the hours fade away in a temporal labyrinth.

With a visual direction that combines elements of painting and expressionism, the film transports the viewer on an intense emotional journey. In this expedition through the subconscious, the protagonist must confront the shadows that haunt him, seeking answers about his identity and purpose. But in this strange sanatorium, who truly holds the key to reality? The film is a reflection on the passage of time, memory, and the quest for redemption, becoming an unforgettable experience that challenges the conventions of classic cinema.
