The House

In a quiet suburb, a family faces the frustration of losing their home due to financial problems. To solve their situation, they decide to open an unusual business: turning their house into an underground casino. The story follows this group of quirky characters as they dive into the world of gambling and hedonism.

The mother, a social events enthusiast, becomes the star of the place, organizing themed evenings that attract neighbors and friends. Her husband, more skeptical, wrestles with the idea of breaking the law, but gets swept up in the adventure and the desire to keep his family united. The children, rebellious and savvy teenagers, see this new venture as an opportunity to gain fame among their peers.

However, as the business grows, so do the problems. The allure of easy money begins to unleash tensions among them, and what was meant to be a temporary solution turns into a maze of lies, confrontations, and tough decisions. The family dynamic slowly crumbles as they face ethical dilemmas, the pressure from creditors, and the possibility of losing themselves in the process.

With a touch of dark comedy, the film explores how circumstances can push us to make crazy decisions and puts family bonds to the test, raising the question of how much we would be willing to risk to save what we love most.
