In a post-apocalyptic world, a devastating pandemic has annihilated nearly all of humanity and transformed the survivors into monstrous creatures allergic to sunlight. Robert Neville, a brilliant scientist and the last known human in New York, faces loneliness and desperation in his relentless search for a cure. As day turns to night, Neville becomes a hunter and warrior, using his intelligence and skills to protect himself from the creatures known as "the Dark Ones."
Neville not only confronts the threat of the Dark Ones, but also his own mental health. Loneliness has led him to develop a routine that includes watching recordings and searching for other survivors, while clinging to memories of his family. Through flashbacks, we glimpse his life before the catastrophe, the loss of his wife and daughter, and the difficult decisions he had to make.
An unexpected twist occurs when Neville finds a woman and a child who, surprisingly, are human. Together, they embark on a dangerous mission that could be the key to saving humanity. However, time is running out and the creatures become more aggressive. As the struggle between hope and despair intensifies, Neville faces his own destiny and the sacrifice that may be necessary to save what is left of humanity.
