If I Had a Million

In this comedy of errors, an elderly millionaire decides that instead of leaving his fortune to his envious relatives, it is better to distribute it among a group of strangers who have never had the luck to enjoy life. Thus, he becomes the "Angel of Wealth," selecting several people whose stories will make us laugh and cry.

The plot intertwines through various segments, where each of these fortunate individuals receives a check for one million dollars, leading them into the most hilarious and absurd situations. From a frustrated artist who begins to live like a true dandy, to a newlywed couple who discover the superficiality of the new friends attracted by their fortune. Each character explores their new life, with unexpected twists that reveal the struggle between desire and reality, love and greed.

The film paints a comedic yet reflective picture of how money can change people and their relationships. Throughout these adventures, the essence of humanity shines, as each person faces moral dilemmas and is forced to rethink what they truly value. Meanwhile, the elderly man, like a colossus behind the curtain, observes how his generosity impacts the lives of others, leaving us with a wise lesson about what it really means to have wealth.
