In 1950s Italy, the life of a young nobleman is turned upside down when his family decides to throw a grand gathering to celebrate his birthday. Max, a somewhat clumsy count with little sense of responsibility, returns to his childhood home, where the pressure from relatives and friends is palpable. Although his life is filled with luxuries, his inability to meet the expectations of the aristocracy becomes a constant source of amusement and mishaps.

In the days leading up to the celebration, Max tries to maintain his composure while facing a series of hilarious situations, from fake romantic commitments to run-ins with a jealous butler dreaming of taking control of the household. As the big event approaches, an unexpected romance blossoms between Max and a charming young woman from his neighborhood, adding a refreshing romantic twist to the plot.

As the party unfolds, family secrets begin to come to light, revealing that appearances can be deceiving and that behind every smile lies a story. With a cast that skillfully blends comedy and drama, Max confronts not only the challenges of his roots but also his own identity, discovering that being a count doesn’t necessarily mean being happy. A light romantic comedy that offers a delightful glimpse into the lives of the Italian aristocracy.
