In a quiet American suburb, the Goodman family's life is brutally shattered after the unexpected death of their eldest son, a talented swimmer who seemed to have a bright future ahead of him. This tragedy not only shocks the family but also uncovers the hidden tensions and personal struggles that each of its members has been enduring.

The father, a successful and perfectionist man, feels overwhelmed by grief and struggles to maintain the facade of a united family, while his wife sinks into unhealthy forms of mourning. The sister, caught up in her own search for identity, confronts the expectations and pressures of an environment that no longer feels familiar. Amidst this chaos, the younger brother, who has lived in the shadow of the lost prodigy, begins to explore life on his own terms, seeking solace in unexpected outcomes.

With a cast full of talent, the story raises questions about guilt, family, and the true meaning of life. As each character faces their own internal demons, the narrative takes us on an intimate exploration of how love and pain can transform, revealing the scars that we all carry and the possibility of reconciliation amid suffering. The film reminds us that sometimes, the people who seem to have it all are the ones who struggle the most in silence.
