In this irreverent comedy, a famous talk show host and his producer are recruited by the CIA to carry out a singular mission: to assassinate the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un. It all begins when the producer, a somewhat neurotic guy, learns that Kim is a big fan of their show. The two men, filled with enthusiasm and a bit of panic, decide to accept the mission under the premise of capturing an exclusive interview.
With the help of the CIA, the protagonists embark on a surreal adventure in North Korea, where they face a completely different environment and the dangerous atmosphere of the totalitarian regime. What initially seems like just a friendly chat and a trip through the exotic country quickly transforms into a life-or-death experience, laden with unexpected twists and absurd situations. Amid hilarious sequences and moments of tension, the protagonists rediscover not only the value of friendship but also what it means to be a journalist in a world filled with censorship.
However, not everything goes according to plan, as the situation becomes increasingly complicated when they realize they are caught up in a game much larger than they imagined. With its mix of humor and political critique, the story questions the limits of entertainment and freedom of expression.
