In the quiet and seemingly idyllic town of Derry, Maine, a group of teenagers faces their worst fears after several children in the area begin to mysteriously disappear. One summer, a group of friends known as “The Losers” decides to investigate the strange wave of disappearances and encounters a terrifying entity that takes the form of Pennywise, a clown that feeds on the fear of children. Each of the boys in the group, with their own personal struggles and traumas, becomes a target for Pennywise, facing not only this supernatural monster but also their internal demons.
As the friendship among them strengthens, they discover that true power lies in their unity and their ability to confront the unknown. Each terrifying encounter with the clown reveals their deepest fears, as well as the profound connection that binds them together. However, as they get closer to the truth behind the creature, they must also confront their own pasts and face the scars they have left behind.
