In the turbulent context of the 1960s, a prosecutor from New Orleans embarks on a passionate and exhaustive representation of the assassination of President Kennedy. Oliver Stone, with his characteristic bold approach, follows Jim Garrison, an official determined to unravel the truth behind a crime that shocked the entire world.

As the protagonist, Kevin Costner embodies Garrison, who begins his investigation after the arrest of a suspect, leading him to uncover a web of conspiracies involving high government powers, the mafia, and other secret organizations. As Garrison digs deeper into the case, he faces the disbelief of many and the resistance of those who prefer that the truth remain hidden. Featuring a cast of notable talent, including Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Oldman, and Jill St. John, each character adds an additional layer to the puzzle of mystery and drama.

As Garrison progresses in his investigation, he finds himself caught in a dangerous game of misinformation and manipulation, jeopardizing not only his career but also his life and that of his family. With a vibrant visual style and a captivating script, this film goes beyond the mere assassination to examine the state of democracy, truth, and public trust, leaving the audience questioning the power of the official narrative and what really happened on that fateful morning in Dallas.
