In this exciting reimagining, a group of explorers sets out on an expedition to a mysterious island in the remote Pacific Ocean. Led by an ambitious film director, Carl Denham, and his assistant Dwan, who has just survived a disastrous romantic fling, the adventurers are motivated by the promise of discovering an unknown world and capturing the greatest film of their lives.
Upon arriving at the island, they discover a prehistoric environment inhabited by wild creatures, but their greatest finding is a gigantic being: a massive gorilla known as Kong. Denham, fascinated by the imposing primate, decides to capture him and take him back to New York to showcase him as the biggest attraction of the moment. However, Dwan and Kong develop a special bond as she manages to see beyond the beastliness of the monster.
Drawn by the lights and sounds of the city, Kong escapes and, as he roams the streets of New York, unleashes chaos and destruction while struggling to reunite with Dwan, who has become his inexplicable object of affection. The film turns into an exploration of love and sacrifice, challenging the notion that a creature’s true nature can be much more complex than it appears. In the climactic finale, Kong's fate becomes the most haunting question: will he be a victim of human ambition or a symbol of the struggle for freedom?
