In an enveloping and melancholic atmosphere, we witness the life of David, a radio host in Philadelphia, who navigates between tedium and despair in his often gray and lonely world. His life is disrupted when his brother, a charismatic yet troubled character, suddenly appears at his doorstep. The brother, a dreamer with grand ideas and impossible plans, arrives with the promise of a brilliant business venture in Atlantic City, where he dreams of building an empire from an extravagant investment in real estate.

As the two brothers reconnect, the contrast between their personalities becomes evident; David, grounded and pragmatic, seeks stability, while his brother is an adventurous spirit living in a constant spark of illusion and chaos. Together, the two travel to Atlantic City, where the dazzling neon skyline contrasts with their internal struggles and the harsh reality around them.

The film delves into themes of unfulfilled dreams, the complexity of family, and the search for meaning in a world filled with noise and distractions. Through a journey that is both physical and emotional, the brothers confront the ghosts of the past and the expectations of the future, while discovering that sometimes what appears to be a golden opportunity can be a deceptive trap. An intimate and unsettling portrait of the quest for identity and connection in a hostile environment.
