On a remote and mysterious island in the Pacific, an eccentric scientist, Dr. Charles Decker, is on the hunt for a unique specimen for his experiments: a giant gorilla that becomes his greatest obsession. After capturing Konga, an exceptionally intelligent creature, Dr. Decker decides to take him to England, believing he can use his incredible strength to prove his genius. However, what begins as a dream of fame and recognition soon turns into a nightmare.
As Konga adjusts to his new life in the city, the gorilla grows fond of his creator, but the scientist's love turns to madness following a series of tragic events, causing Decker's life to unravel. His frustration leads him to experiment with a serum that further amplifies Konga's strength, but this also makes him uncontrollable.
Fueled by anger and confusion, Konga unleashes his fury on the streets of London, becoming an imminent threat. Dr. Decker's desperation drives him to make impossible decisions, trying to stop his own creation before it causes irreversible harm. Chaos engulfs the city as the bond between man and beast collapses, leading to a shocking conclusion about the consequences of unchecked ambition and the limits of science.
