In the tumultuous context of 1980s Paris, we meet a young executive named François, who is anything but competent. His life takes an unexpected turn when his boss, desperate to find his missing daughter, assigns him an almost impossible mission: he must travel to Mexico to retrieve her. However, François is not alone on this adventure. He is accompanied by a private detective, a rather peculiar and very unconventional guy.

As they delve into this quest, the duo faces a series of hilarious misunderstandings and absurd situations that will test their skills and patience. The story unfolds with clever humor, where François's clumsiness contrasts with the detective's cunning. Together, they encounter eccentric characters and surreal settings that turn their journey into uncontrollable chaos.

As the search progresses, the two protagonists forge an unexpected friendship, learning to complement each other amidst the disorder. With each mishap, we discover that life is full of surprises and that sometimes, the strangest things can lead us to what truly matters. Ultimately, the film is a fun and touching journey about friendship, family, and the ability to find light even in the most chaotic moments. It serves as a reminder that sometimes, to find what we love, we must first get lost.
