On a sweltering Roman night, the atmosphere is charged with tension following the discovery of a woman's corpse in a deserted, shadowy alley. The body, belonging to a young woman known in the neighborhood, sparks a series of investigations and rumors that uncover the hidden secrets and desires of the characters surrounding her. Among them is a group of outcasts living on the fringes of society, who become entangled in a spiral of suspicion and betrayal.

The lead investigator, a cynical and disillusioned police officer, delves into a world of intrigue, revealing the multiple facades of those who were close to the victim. As he questions witnesses and listens to the whispers of the street, the line between truth and lies becomes blurred. Each character offers their own version of events, from possessive lovers to treacherous friends, all with hidden motives and dark pasts.

As the clues intertwine and revelations emerge, the film transforms into a psychological game where ambiguity and mystery prevail. With captivating visual style and an immersive narrative, the story explores not only the crime itself but also human nature and the struggle for truth amidst despair. As it approaches its climax, the movie leaves us questioning: how much do we really know about the people we think we know?
