In a Paris of neon and shadows, a mysterious hitman named Jef Costello moves through solitude and precision. With his characteristic gray suit and felt hat, Jef is both a man of the past and a ghost of his own present. His life changes dramatically after a job carried out in a nightclub, where a meticulously planned murder turns into chaos when he is caught at the crime scene.

Despite being seen at the location, the police cannot directly tie the evidence to him, making Jef a target for both the authorities and the very criminals he is part of. With little choice but to continue the game, Jef finds himself trapped in a labyrinth of betrayals and deceit, where every move is crucial and trust is a luxury he cannot afford.

As the tension mounts, Jef’s relationship with a woman from his life becomes a glimmer of vulnerability in a hostile world, as he struggles for survival in an environment where everything seems to be against him. With a visual style that redefines film noir, this story of a solitary man on a path of no return delves into themes of identity, isolation, and the eternal conflict between duty and desire. The oppressive atmosphere and hypnotic rhythm accompany a protagonist who seems to dance between life and death, leaving an indelible impression.
