In a cold and gloomy French prison, a group of inmates bands together for a daring escape mission. The story follows four prisoners who, upon discovering a meticulously crafted escape plan, become accomplices in a desperate act. It all begins when the new inmate, Claude Gaspard, joins the cell. Initially reluctant, he soon finds himself caught up in the allure of his fellow prisoners’ escape plan: a tunnel they have been patiently digging for months.

As the days pass, the tension in the cell heightens. The men must be extremely cautious, not only with the authorities but also with one another, as distrust can arise at any moment. The power of fear, friendship, and hope intertwines in a captivating narrative that immerses us in the monotonous routine of prison life and the anguish of its protagonists.

As the crucial day approaches, every little detail matters, and the protagonists must confront their own demons. With the guards constantly on watch and uncertainty lurking at every corner, adrenaline surges, and the enduring question remains: will they escape to the life they long for, or will they be caught by the system that confines them? With a realistic and visceral approach, this film offers a glimpse into the human soul and the struggle for freedom under extreme conditions. A masterpiece of prison cinema that leaves a lasting impression.
