Leaving Las Vegas

In a world where love and despair are intertwined, a troubled Hollywood screenwriter, Ben Sanderson, decides to leave his life in Los Angeles after losing his job and his family. Exhausted and consumed by deep depression, his only intention is to immerse himself in self-destruction, so he moves to Las Vegas with a singular purpose: to drink himself to death. As he roams the city of sin, he quickly descends into a whirlwind of alcohol, seeking the solace that has eluded him for so long.

Amid this dark journey, he meets Sera, a young prostitute who is also fighting her own demons. The connection between them arises unexpectedly: two lost souls who find in each other a ray of understanding and compassion in a sea of solitude. As Ben succumbs to his addiction, Sera does everything she can to support him, despite knowing that her love cannot save him.

Little by little, the relationship becomes a delicate dance between hope and tragedy, as Ben and Sera try to find meaning in their lives despite the shadows surrounding them. The film paints a raw and poignant portrait of the individual struggle with addiction, showing that sometimes, love is not only a salvation but also an inevitable tragedy. An unforgettable story that promises to leave a lasting impression on the viewer long after the final credits roll.
