In a dystopian world where being single is a crime, singles are arrested and taken to a hotel where they must find a partner within 45 days. If they fail to do so, they will be transformed into an animal of their choice and released into the woods. Our protagonist, a man who has just lost his wife, feels lost in this absurd reality. Upon arriving at the hotel, he encounters a series of eccentric characters and faces his own emotional dilemmas amid an environment that seems determined to strip him of his humanity.
As he observes the mechanics of love imposed by the system, he begins to develop a strategy to escape. In his quest for authentic connection, he not only grapples with the absurdities of the place but also discovers a rebel group living in the woods, resisting the regime's rules. There, he finds a woman with whom he shares a special connection, but the risk of being captured and transformed into animals always looms.
As the pressure mounts and the clock ticks down, desperation becomes palpable. The film explores themes of love, loneliness, and the nature of human relationships with a dark and satirical approach. With an ironic tone and memorable characters, the story leads the viewer to question the true essence of connection and freedom in a world governed by absurd and rigid rules.
