Long Weekend

In the sweltering summer of 1979, a young couple, Pete and Linda, decides to escape their daily routine and embarks on a journey to a remote coastal enclave. What begins as a fun getaway to the sea soon transforms into a path of self-discovery and disillusionment. As they explore the natural beauty of the landscape, the couple begins to confront the hidden issues in their relationship, which seem to resurface with every wave that crashes onto the shore.

As the days pass, the relaxed atmosphere intertwines with the tension they both carry inside. Images of their previous life are projected in the air, creating a contrast between the healing they seek and the conflicts that torment them. In the midst of this crisis, a mysterious and charming stranger appears in their path, serving as a catalyst to further complicate their feelings. His presence evokes both attraction and confrontation, leading the couple to question their true desires and the nature of the love they believe they have.

Set against a stunning backdrop, this story explores the highs and lows of human relationships, emotional dislocation, and the search for meaning. With a touch of surrealism and an unexpected ending, it invites the viewer to reflect on the connections we forge in life and how, at times, fate has its own plans, even when we least expect it. A mix of drama and comedy that guarantees to leave a profound impact on those who dare to immerse themselves in this cinematic experience.
