In this fun 80s comedy, we follow the life of Mollie, a young single mother who is taking her first steps in the complicated adventure of raising her newborn, Mikey. The plot becomes even more interesting when we discover that Mikey's thoughts are not only adorable but, thanks to the magic of cinema, can be heard by the audience. As the story unfolds, little Mikey becomes the narrator of his own adventures, sharing with us what he really thinks about the world around him.

Mollie, struggling to balance her work life with motherhood, navigates a sea of comedic situations, from awkward interactions with her mother to her attempts at dating. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets James, a rough-around-the-edges but kind-hearted taxi driver, who ultimately becomes the romantic interest she never anticipated. As Mollie is drawn to him, Mikey has his own opinions about his mother's relationship and does not hesitate to share them with his quirky sense of humor.

Amidst misadventures and tender moments, the film explores the ups and downs of forming a family under unexpected circumstances. With a script filled with laughter and reflections on motherhood and love, it becomes a timeless classic that will resonate with anyone who has experienced the emotional roller coaster of being a parent, or simply in love.
