In the midst of the American Civil War, the ambitious Colonel Benjamin Tyreen finds himself on the brink of despair. After a brutal series of attacks by a tribe of Apache Indians led by the feared warrior, the Colonel decides to assemble an eclectic group of soldiers to undertake a nearly suicidal mission: to capture the Apache leader and put an end to the threat once and for all. However, nothing is straightforward in the desert. Within his squad, Tyreen faces tensions with a group of Confederate prisoners who, despite being his enemies, become unexpected allies in this dangerous crusade.
As they progress on their journey, the differences between soldiers and prisoners blur, and Tyreen becomes a questioned leader, fighting not only against the enemy but also against the doubts of his own morality. The mission, which was supposed to be a triumph, transforms into a journey of self-discovery and sacrifice. With arid landscapes and electrifying action scenes, the group faces ambushes, ethical dilemmas, and, above all, the stark reality of war. Each member of the squad must decide how far they are willing to go for honor, courage, and survival, while the echoes of their pasts resonate in the vastness of the desert. Ultimately, what seemed like a simple duty soon reveals itself to be a journey into the unknown.
