In a vibrant city where love and complications are part of everyday life, a young woman named Betty longs for true romance. Hardworking and dreamy, her life takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with a charismatic lawyer who is in the midst of a dramatic divorce. Fate brings them together in a parade of romantic entanglements, misunderstandings, and a handful of comedic situations that test their chemistry.

The lawyer, with the divorce papers in hand, hides a secret: he is not entirely ready to let go of his crumbling marriage. Meanwhile, Betty, with her free spirit, cannot resist the lawyer's charm, ignoring the complications that their relationship could bring. In their quest for love and stability, both characters must confront their exes, their friends, and their own hearts.

With a good dose of humor, this story explores the confusion that accompanies modern love and commitment. The circumstances become even more complicated when Betty finds herself under pressure from a mischievous friend who is determined to pair her up once and for all. With unexpected twists and endearing moments, the characters must decide whether they are willing to risk everything for love or if each must follow their own path. In this romantic comedy in the purest style of the 1920s, the lessons about love, trust, and the true meaning of "I do" have never been so much fun.
