In a turbulent French city at the beginning of the 20th century, a young dreamer named Max works in a quinine factory, a very popular remedy of the time. Max, a simple and kind-hearted guy, finds himself trapped in the routine of his daily life, but he dreams of leaving his monotonous job and finding true love. Everything changes when he crosses paths with a beautiful cabaret singer who, having just arrived in the city, captivates him with her energy and talent.

Soon, Max becomes the accomplice of his enchanting muse, joining her on her nighttime adventures. However, life in the cabaret is more complicated than it appears, and the bright lights hide shadows of deceit, jealousy, and rivalries. As Max tries to win the singer's heart, he gets caught up in a series of comedic and chaotic situations, from mix-ups on stage to unexpected encounters with eccentric characters.

As the plot unfolds, Max faces decisions that will test his courage and determination. The dopamine of love and the anxiety of life push him out of his comfort zone, and he must learn that true love can be as fleeting as the bubbles of quinine. This romantic comedy, filled with laughter and emotional moments, reminds us that, amidst the ups and downs of life, there is always room for surprises and hope.
