The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc

In a France torn by war and the English invasion, a young peasant girl named Joan feels called by divine visions to become the savior of her country. As the situation grows increasingly desperate, Joan leaves behind her simple life and embarks on an epic journey to meet the Dauphin Charles, the heir to the throne. Despite her inexperience, her fervent faith and determination impress military leaders and common people alike, who see in her a spark of hope amid the chaos.

With borrowed armor and a small army at her command, Joan defies all expectations and leads the French in a series of stunning victories against the English. However, the path of the heroine is not without obstacles; politics, betrayal, and the distrust of those around her threaten her mission. As circumstances become more complicated, Joan's faith is put to the test, and her fate takes a tragic turn.

Caught between her religious fervor and the demands of power, Joan becomes a symbol of resistance and courage before facing the dark trial that will condemn her. The film is a visceral portrait of an extraordinary woman who defied the norms of her time, leaving a legacy that will endure for centuries. With intense performances and stunning visual storytelling, Joan's story raises questions about faith, leadership, and sacrifice.
