Midnight Matinee

In a small town where the nightlife consists of few things, a group of friends gathers every weekend at an old cinema overshadowed by modernity. The cinema, famous for its screenings of classic horror films, is where the real fun begins when they decide not only to watch the movies but also to act within them. What starts as a joke becomes a peculiar tradition: each week, they dress up as the characters from the films and, to the rhythm of the screenings, create their own improvised show.

But the fun soon turns into something darker when, on one of those thrilling nights, they find an old forgotten reel in the projector. Unknowingly, they unleash a terrible curse by screening a movie that captures the essence of a serial killer who used to terrorize the town. The friends find themselves trapped in a game of horror, where the lines between fiction and reality blur.

As the killer begins to stalk their group, they must use their wits and knowledge of cinema to survive. At the same time, they discover dark secrets about their own friendship and the fears they have been hiding. In this thrilling mix of comedy, horror, and nostalgia for classic cinema, the group must fight not only for their lives but also for the strength of their bonds. Will they manage to escape the screen and face their fate?
