In the bustling city of New York, a charismatic elderly man named Edwin, who leads a quiet life as a toy designer, becomes the center of attention in a criminal enigma. While the rest of the people in his neighborhood live in harmony, Edwin, known for being a friendly grandpa, is actually the clever thief who has been robbing the rich to help the needy. His unmatched talent for disguise and his wit have made him an urban legend among criminals, but the police are determined to catch him. A young and talented agent, who has specialized in solving tough cases, takes charge of the investigation, eager to unmask the mysterious thief known as β€œMister 880.”

As the plot unfolds, the detective delves into Edwin's daily life, discovering that his personality and charity hide a life full of secrets. The relationship between them begins to take an unexpected turn, leading the detective to question the true motives behind his actions. With his life in danger, Edwin must navigate his desire to help those in greatest need and the imminent risk of being discovered. With a touch of humor and a subtle social critique, this story explores the duality of kindness and crime, demonstrating that one cannot always judge a book by its cover.
