In a gloomy mansion, the fearsome millionaire Cyrus M. J. Grimsby has been found dead, and his legacy becomes the center of a curious intrigue. An architect named Avery Brundage stumbles upon the perfect opportunity when he is sent to the mansion to assess the property. However, what seemed like a simple job turns into a tangle of hilarious and spooky situations when, upon arrival, he discovers that the mansion is home to a series of peculiar characters related to the deceased.

As the night progresses, terrible events unfold: the appearance of a mysterious second corpse, an atmosphere filled with secrets, and a web of deception and confusion that seems endless. Avery, along with Grimsby's charming and clever niece, find themselves caught in a spiral of comedic and terrifying situations. From absurd accusations to chases through the mansion, the tension keeps rising.

The blend of comedy, mystery, and a touch of horror makes the plot a whirlwind of fun. As the characters try to unravel the mystery behind the deaths, the film takes us on a surprising journey where what appears to be a simple job turns into a fight for survival and love, all while keeping the laughs coming thick and fast.
