In a small Japanese town, the life of an ordinary man transforms unexpectedly when he discovers a manuscript belonging to a famous writer. The story conveyed through the manuscript reveals the turbulent inner world of its author, filled with obsessions and uncontrolled passions. As our protagonist immerses himself in the reading, he begins to experience visions and delusions that lead him to question his own reality.

Tension escalates when he learns that the author is missing, prompting him to unearth the secrets of his life. With the help of a young librarian, who is also an admirer of the writer, he embarks on an exhilarating quest that uncovers a dark past connecting them both. The line between fiction and reality blurs as they delve into a labyrinth of literary intrigue and hidden secrets.

As the narrative progresses, the protagonist becomes entangled in a web of external obsessions, forcing him to confront his own demons. The story explores the search for identity and the madness that can arise from artistic creation. With stunning visual style and an unsettling atmosphere, this journey immersed in madness and art shows us how words can alter the soul, leaving the viewer questioning the nature of reality and fiction.
