In a not-so-distant future, the remnants of civilization are in a state of chaos and anarchy. The story follows a group of prisoners who, while being transported on a penal ship to a prison in a remote space colony, manage to execute a plan to escape. Among them is a former police officer with a dark past, a brilliant engineer, and a young idealist who dreams of a better future.
During the journey, the ship's captain, a man overwhelmed by guilt and loyalty to his mission, faces his own demons and begins to question whether his duty is truly right. As tensions rise on board, the prisoners band together, evade the staff's surveillance, and start to take control of the ship. The plot thickens when a mysterious government agent infiltrates the vessel, determined to regain control and eliminate the prisoners before they can escape.
