Quarter to Two Before Jesus Christ

In a remote Galilean village, a group of farmers lives a peaceful, yet somewhat stagnant life rooted in their ancient traditions. However, everything changes with the arrival of a young carpenter who calls himself Jesus. As the young man begins to preach, his revolutionary ideas spark both admiration and uproar among the villagers. The plot centers around a couple of beloved characters: an elderly Pharisee who clings to the old customs, and a young skeptic who, despite his resistance, cannot help but be drawn to the charisma of the new leader.

Life in the village becomes a constant tug-of-war between tradition and modernity, with absurd and comedic situations reflecting the irony of the times. As Jesus's influence grows, the villagers are swept up in a whirlwind of faith, confusion, and hilarity. Amidst miracles and philosophical speeches, the group of farmers must confront their own fears and beliefs, while the elderly Pharisee feels increasingly threatened by change.

With a lighthearted and humorous approach, the film offers a fun look at human relationships and the struggle between the old and the new. In the end, the characters discover that faith can manifest in the most unexpected ways, leading to a bittersweet conclusion filled with laughter and reflection.
