In the mid-1950s, a man is brought before a military tribunal accused of treason in the context of an intense Cold War. The story focuses on the psychological and physical tensions that this man faces during his interrogation. He is a former soldier who, upon returning from a mission, finds himself in a world that has drastically changed while he was away. At the center of the plot is the use of torture as a tool for information extraction; the protagonist must contend with the aggressive tactics of a captain who seeks to prove that the accused's loyalty is tenuous.

Amidst the pressure, the character confronts his own demons and the guilt of having left behind comrades who, in his conscience, might have had a better fate. Throughout the intense interrogations and flashbacks, the protagonist's moral dilemma is revealed as he must decide between succumbing to the pressure from the officers or taking responsibility for his actions, knowing that everything comes at a cost.

With a focus on the complexities of honor, betrayal, and loyalty, the film becomes a claustrophobic psychological thriller that explores the limits of human resilience. The tense atmosphere and unexpected twists keep the viewer on the edge of their seat, as the truth behind the accusation is revealed and the cost of being a hero in wartime comes to light.
