In a picturesque corner of Arizona, an ex-convict named H.I. McDunnough and his wife, Ed, a police officer, live a quiet life. Despite having found love, their longing to have children turns into an obsession. When they realize that they cannot conceive, fate smiles upon them in a peculiar way: a wealthy couple has just had quintuplets. Desperation and madness unleash in H.I. and Ed, who decide to "steal" one of the babies in an attempt to create the family they have always dreamed of.

However, the adventure of these two misfits quickly transforms into hilarious chaos. As they try to adapt their lives to the new family member, they become embroiled in a heap of entanglements and absurd situations. From a hilarious chase through the desert roads to an unexpected encounter with H.I.'s criminal brother, the couple's life is filled with craziness that never loses its humor despite the desperation.

As things become more complicated, H.I. and Ed must face the consequences of their decisions. With a quirky visual style and a unique sense of humor, suburban life turns into a rollercoaster of laughs and a bit of madness, exploring the meaning of love, family, and what it truly means to be parents.
