Ransom!

In a quiet American town, the life of a prosperous businessman turns into complete chaos when his young son is kidnapped by a mysterious crime gang. The family, devastated and in shock, faces the agony of uncertainty, but the situation becomes even more complicated when the father, determined not to give in to the blackmail, decides to turn the power of the situation to his advantage.

Instead of paying the ransom demanded by the captors, the man uses his influence and resources to offer a hefty reward to anyone who can capture the kidnappers, transforming personal anguish into a public imperative. As the plot unfolds, the viewer is immersed in a psychological game that explores power dynamics, morality, and the tough decisions families must face in extreme situations.

As the police embark on a manhunt, the pressure mounts, and time becomes an unrelenting enemy. Tensions between the father, the mother, and the authorities escalate, revealing fractures in their relationships that intensify with each passing minute. With an unexpected twist and a charged atmosphere, the film provides a satire of the media and sensationalism in the modern age. Discovering who the real enemy is will be key for the family to recover not only their son but also their own integrity.
