Ruggles of Red Gap

In early 20th century London, a distinguished British butler named Ruggles serves the aristocrat Lord Burnstead. After the unexpected death of his employer, Ruggles is inherited by a pair of clueless and carefree Americans who drag him to their new home in a small town called Red Gap, in the heart of the American West. There, he faces a completely different world, filled with extravagant customs and a culture that he barely understands.

With his elegant demeanor and refined education, Ruggles becomes a sort of local attraction, while simultaneously clashing with and adapting to the quirks of his new American "friends." As his charming personality begins to make an impression on the town, he also falls in love with the free-spirited and brave woman who works at the local hotel, which strains his loyalty to the British aristocracy. As he immerses himself in the life of the town, Ruggles realizes the importance of individuality and freedom, challenging the class norms that governed his previous life.

The story unfolds into a hilarious and touching tale of self-discovery, inclusion, and the struggle to be oneself, as Ruggles confronts modern American society, ready to redefine what it truly means to be a gentleman. With a cast full of charisma and memorable comedic situations, this movie captures the essence of a changing era.
