In an elegant yet decaying mansion in the English countryside, two men who are exactly alike meet by chance, and upon realizing their extraordinary similarity, their lives become unexpectedly intertwined. One of them is a French teacher, a lonely and introspective man, while the other is a wealthy nobleman with a life full of excess and family troubles. When the aristocrat finds himself embroiled in a scandal with his family and needs to escape the suffocating pressure, he decides to use the appearance of his double to change his life.

The professor, intrigued and somewhat confused, accepts the challenge and is drawn into the sordid life of the noble, only to discover that wealth and status come with tension, intrigue, and dark secrets. While the aristocrat enjoys a new and carefree existence, the professor faces issues of loyalty and morality in an environment that feels foreign to him.

As the plot thickens, the deception begins to unravel. The line between true identity and imposture blurs, leading both men to an unpredictable outcome that challenges not only their relationship but also their own understanding of themselves. The film masterfully intertwines comedy and drama, prompting us to reflect on the duality of human nature and the role of fate in our lives.
