In a quiet city, a young and promising actress struggles to make a name for herself in the entertainment world. Longing to be part of the glamorous Broadway scene, she moves into a small room where she finds herself caught between the reality of her everyday life and her grand aspirations. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with a successful theater director, a charismatic and self-assured man, who takes her under his wing.

As their relationship develops, the young woman feels intoxicated by the passion and affection the director offers her. However, she quickly becomes the second choice for a man still emotionally tied to his ex-wife, who has not been able to overcome her ghost. The situation becomes more complicated when the ex-wife returns to both of their lives, revealing old grudges and secrets that threaten not only their love but also the protagonist's career.

The film delves into the young woman's internal struggle as she must decide whether it is worth continuing to fight for a love that seems destined to be fleeting, or if she should take control of her life and future in the entertainment world. The narrative explores the tensions of modern relationships and the search for identity in an environment where fame and success can work against true love. With an atmosphere of emotional intensity, the story offers a glimpse into the fragility of human aspirations and the desire to be β€œthe first” in someone's life.
