In a world where conventions and workplace norms prevail, Lee Holloway, a young woman with a past marked by mental health issues and self-harm, finds a job as a secretary for a strict and somewhat peculiar lawyer, E. Edward Grey. From the very first moment, the relationship between them is established in a tense yet intriguing atmosphere. As Lee delves into her new role, she discovers that her boss has an unconventional approach to work and life.

As the dynamic between them develops, Lee becomes drawn to Grey’s authority and rigidity. What begins as a professional relationship soon transforms into something more intense and charged with passion, leading Lee to explore her own desires and limits. Through power and control games, both characters challenge not only social conventions but also their own insecurities and expectations.

With a backdrop of dark humor and a narrative that examines the complexity of sexuality and the relationship between dominant and submissive, the story becomes a journey of self-discovery for Lee. As they confront their fears and desires, they raise questions about autonomy, intimacy, and what it means to completely surrender to another person. This fascinating and provocative exploration reveals that sometimes love is found in the most unexpected places.
