On a bright spring morning, a young jockey named Jimmy finds himself at a crossroads in his life. With an innate talent for racing, he dreams of becoming the best on the circuit, but his life becomes complicated when he learns that his father, a former renowned jockey, has debts that threaten the stability of their family. Desperate to help his father and keep the family tradition alive, Jimmy enters a prestigious race: the Shamrock Handicap.
As the competition approaches, Jimmy meets a young horse racing enthusiast who introduces him to a horse that has seen better days, known as "Lucky." The steed, despite having been discarded by many, awakens Jimmy's faith, and he decides that together they can defy the odds. However, not everything is smooth sailing: he faces opposition from other jockeys and the pressure of bettors who consider him a dreamer.
As the days lead up to the race, Jimmy must confront his own fears and make difficult decisions. In an unexpected turn of events, he discovers that some of his competitors are willing to cheat to secure victory. With his family's reputation at stake and a future hanging by a thread, Jimmy must gather all his courage and go all in for an epic race where not only champions are defined, but also honor and integrity.
