Slums of Beverly Hills

In the glamorous 90s of Beverly Hills, a teenager named Vivian finds herself caught between the opulence of her neighborhood and the instability of her own family life. Her father, a ruined former enforcer, and her uncles, who seem to have more problems than they can handle, are constantly on the lookout for the next big opportunity while the family lives in a small apartment in a guesthouse. As her family struggles with paying bills and the lack of a stable place, Vivian navigates the harsh reality of being a teenage girl in a culture obsessed with status and wealth.

With a sharp sense of humor, the film follows Vivian as she tries to fit in at high school and deal with the complex world of popularity, teenage crushes, and all those little tragedies that youth brings. Her life becomes even more complicated when she begins to develop her own interests and desires, often in conflict with her wacky family's expectations. Amid family disasters, awkward dates, and moments of self-discovery, Vivian learns that true wealth is measured not in dollars, but in loyalty and love. Scoot Logan, a boy from the wealthy elite, enters her life, further complicating her quest for identity. With a great cast and memorable moments, the story is a loving and humorous portrait of the struggle to find a place in the world.
