In a small European village in the early 20th century, the inhabitants become embroiled in a mysterious phenomenon that transforms their lives forever. Following the arrival of an eccentric traveling wizard, the locals begin to experience a series of inexplicable events that challenge logic and reason. Each week, the wizard puts on a dazzling show, blending illusions with elements of nature and the human mind. Fascinated and simultaneously terrified, the villagers find themselves drawn into a world of dreams and nightmares.

As the wizard's spell takes hold of the community, secrets, repressed desires, and old grudges begin to surface. A group of friends embarks on a quest to unravel the wizard's purpose, confronting their own demons in the process. While some in the village embrace the new order, others struggle to maintain what remains of their reality. The line between illusion and truth blurs, revealing how greed, love, and fear can manipulate people in unexpected ways.

With an innovative visual style for its time, the film blends reality and fantasy, offering a social critique of alienation and the search for identity in a constantly changing world. Trapped in a spell that transcends the superficial, the characters must decide whether to break free or succumb to the allure of the unknown.
