In a small, quiet town in Georgia, life seems to flow without disruptions until a lightning storm triggers a series of terrifying events. When a young man arrives to visit his friend, he discovers that the combination of water and electricity has activated the earthworms, bringing them to an unprecedented state of aggression. Without warning, these harmless creatures transform into bloodthirsty monsters.

As the worms begin to attack the townspeople, tension escalates to unimaginable levels. The young woman, along with her friend, fights for survival while attempting to uncover the mystery behind this phenomenon. The situation becomes even more dramatic when they realize that the town harbors dark secrets buried beneath the soil.

In a context where paranoia and madness grip the citizens, the protagonists must confront not only the threat of the worms but also their own fears and moral dilemmas. Throughout the story, dark aspects of rural life are revealed, including family conflicts and rivalries that only add to the chaos. The protagonists quickly learn that some things are better left unsaid, but by then, it’s already too late. A disturbing climax approaches, filled with unexpected twists and extreme situations that will leave everyone on the edge of their seats.
