In a quiet town, a mysterious outsider becomes the center of attention when he arrives seeking refuge. On the surface, he appears to be an ordinary man, but as the atmosphere grows tenser, we discover that his true identity is much darker. This outsider, an exile from World War II, harbors a terrifying secret that could shake the foundations of the community longing for normalcy.

As he settles into a nearby house, he becomes intertwined with the life of a young woman who is dedicated to her work as a teacher. They begin to fall in love, but the dangers of his past are always lurking. At the same time, a perceptive investigator, who has arrived in the area to solve war crimes, starts to suspect that the outsider is not who he claims to be.

With an atmosphere of increasing tension, the plot unfolds between what seems to be a romantic idyll and a disturbing quest for the truth. It’s a game of cat and mouse that will lead the characters to question not only the identities they assume but also the very concepts of justice and forgiveness. As the truth comes to light, the young woman must decide if her love can transcend the dark secrets of the man she has come to adore, all while the shadow of violence and betrayal lurks around every corner.
