In the 1910s, three misfit Hollywood actors, relegated to menial jobs at a studio where they are more famous for their clumsy performances than for their talent, find themselves swept up in an adventure larger than they could have ever imagined. As they struggle to land auditions and manage their egos, they receive an unexpected call for help from a small Mexican town that is being oppressed by a fearsome bandit named El Guapo.
