In a fast food restaurant, a group of young employees faces the ups and downs of their jobs and personal relationships. As the days go by, the monotony of customer service serves as the backdrop for five main characters: an aspiring actor who hates his job, a chef who dreams of being a culinary star, and a pair of friends dealing with love and heartbreak while trying to survive their awful boss.
Amidst orders of burgers and shakes, the employees support each other as they confront absurd situations and moments of revelation. From the antics of the new guy who constantly causes trouble to the unexpected revelations about each person’s personal life, the group's dynamics become the thread that weaves through the story. Humor is the only refuge in a work environment that sometimes feels more like a prison than an opportunity.
In the midst of chaos, an unexpected event leads them to reconsider what they truly want in their lives. Among laughter and tears, the characters are forced to confront their aspirations and the reality of growing up. While everyone is waiting for "something" to pull them out of their routine, they discover that real life is happening here and now, and that sometimes, those little epiphanies can come in the most unexpected forms.
