In a dystopian future, Earth has transformed into a water world following the melting of the glaciers. What were once continents are now submerged beneath vast oceans, and humanity has adapted its life on makeshift boats and rafts. The protagonist, a solitary and mysterious sailor with strange adaptations to his body, earns his living as a hunter and smuggler. His everyday life is interrupted when he stumbles upon a girl, cared for by a community of survivors who protect her due to her unique connection to a mythical place known as "the land," which many believe to be pure fantasy.
The sailor finds himself drawn into a dangerous adventure alongside the girl and her mother as they are pursued by the ruthless leader of a brutal pirate gang looking to exploit the girl's secret. This antagonist, known as the “Devourer,” is a tyrant who sails a massive ship that serves as a war fortress in this vast ocean.
As tension builds, the characters form unexpected bonds, and the sailor begins to uncover his own past and the sacrifices he has made. He will have to fight not only for the girl’s survival but also for the future of humanity, facing endless dangers in the water and revealing whether the hope of restoring the lost world can somehow become a reality.
