When a quiet suburban dentist, Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky, is living a monotonous and gray life, his world takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of his new neighbor. This neighbor is a former hitman seeking a new life, but the situation complicates when his dark past catches up with him. After a brutal murder occurs in their neighborhood, Oz finds himself swept into a whirlwind of complications that he could never have imagined, even in his worst nightmares.
The dentist, brilliantly portrayed by Matthew Perry, is a likable guy whose life is barely exciting. However, with the arrival of Jimmy "The Tulip," played by Bruce Willis, things change drastically. Jimmy, with his charisma and latent danger, not only captures Oz's attention but also entangles him in a mess of crime and comedy that tests his bravery and morality. Caught between the need to protect his family and the desire to help his neighbor, Oz must decide how to act in a game that seems to have no rules.
As a series of misadventures unfold involving mobsters, police, and the comedic integrity of his own wife, Oz becomes the unlikely hero who refuses to let his ordinary life trap him. Will he manage to get out of this situation without losing his head and, more importantly, his dentures? The movie will keep you laughing and on the edge of your seat.
