In the vibrant and tumultuous literary scene of the late 19th century, a young and talented Oscar Wilde arrives in London with grand dreams and a biting wit. As he immerses himself in high society, he quickly becomes an iconic figure, renowned for both his literary brilliance and his eccentric lifestyle. Wilde attracts the attention of the beautiful yet fragile Lord Alfred Douglas, a young aristocrat with a free spirit who ignites in him a spark of passionate and tumultuous love. Their relationship, intense and scandalous, defies the norms of the time, leading Wilde to the pinnacle of fame while also opening the door to a series of dangers and adversities.

As his literary career flourishes, so does the scrutiny from critics and enemies who spare no effort in targeting his alternative lifestyle. Intrigue and tensions escalate when the romantic relationship between Wilde and Douglas becomes the center of a scandal that threatens his reputation and freedom. In a world that refuses to accept his truth, Wilde must grapple with his choices and confront the consequences of living authentically within an oppressive social framework. The film explores the tragedy and humor of the literary genius, providing a poignant portrait of his life, his love, and his struggle against the conventions that seek to silence him.
