In a remote and harsh northern region, a young woman struggles to find her place in a world that often scorns her. Anna, a brave and resilient peasant, faces adversity and loneliness in her quest for a better life. Raised in an extreme environment marked by harsh weather and daily hardships, her dreams seem as unattainable as the stars she gazes at each night.

The plot introduces us to her neighbors: the elderly and wise scholar who shares stories of love and hope with her, and the mysterious outsider who arrives in the village with a dark past and awakens unexpected feelings in Anna. As the story unfolds, the young woman finds herself caught between the longing for a fulfilling life and the pressures of the tradition surrounding her.

With stunning frozen landscapes as a backdrop, the film explores themes of love, identity, and the struggle for personal freedom. On her journey to self-discovery, Anna must confront both her own fears and the expectations of her community. The decisions she makes not only impact her life but also those around her, challenging norms and revealing the power of female determination in a hostile world. A moving story that captures the essence of the human spirit in its relentless pursuit of happiness and love in the most adverse conditions.
